A letter of interest describing interest in the program, as well as plans to utilize the training provided through the fellowship program.

Non-refundable application service fee of $275.00 CND (money order payable to the University of Toronto).

Eligibility requirements: The TJO Fellow applicants should be a graduate of an accredited residency program in Oral and maxillofacial Surgery, hold DDS/DMD and/or MD degrees (or equivalents) and is required to obtain an Educational or General Ontario dental license through the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario or medical license through the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario. International applicants are required to obtain the appropriate visa to work in Ontario for the 12-month fellowship.
Program Description:
Focus Area: Temporomandibular Joint and Orthognathic Surgery
Post-residency training program dedicated to clinical and scientific training in the management of Temporomandibular joint disorders and the treatment of Dentofacial Deformities. Clinical care is the primary focus of the fellowship. The fellow will be involved in roughly 30 alloplastic total joint replacements over the 12 months. Autogenous joint replacements, as well as other open joint procedures, are part of the scope of training. Orthognathic Surgery will be the secondary focus.
Teaching and original research are the tertiary focus but not exclusive
